Honest question can anyone remeber a weaker irish squad? I think it more systematic than purely blaming the management team.

No context to this clip so it's hard to place too much judgement on either party. I certainly expected it to worse than it is. Players don't come out of it to well either, asking them to train 3 days in a row is not exactly ground breaking, if it wasn't possible due to medical advice then everyone should have been aware of that.

In fairness the players did say it was the same at their clubs, trying to prevent underlying injuries returning.

Almost bought a season ticket back in June. Delighted I didn’t.

It's to nice to see the team play well and win but sharing something like that with your son will leave great memories. There will many great nights both at the Aviva and abroad, enjoy!!

Pity we couldn’t hold on for a win tonight, would have been a bit of a distraction from what else was going on this week.

Declan Rice situation is some joke. Felt a bit sorry for O’Neill getting ambushed by the Sky story during his press conference.

Clear at the moment he will choose England

Yes seems like England especially with how long it's going on now. Daniel McDonnell in the Indo this morning saying with quotes from O'Neill saying Rice's family are all for him sticking with Ireland. I am not sure myself with a lot of people in his ear. Seems to be great mates with Noble and Terry let alone the club and agent influencing him but in saying all that he has to do what's best for his own future.

Am I right in saying there were no posts about the match at the weekend, or am I missing a thread somewhere?

    Was thinking the same yesterday.

Think the interest in National team is probably as it’s lowest ebb in my lifetime.

Strange as this time last year it looks very likely World Cup was on horizon after beating Wales.

I think it’s got to the stage now with O Neil/Keane that people have football fatigue

I had a look at Bench on Saturday and could not name the current club for any of them. Couple of them are late 20s as well so not as if they are up and coming lads with potential.

Robinson did show a few nice touches and woke the crowd up

The future was looking very bright for a while with our underage teams winning European Championships but it never translated to the senior team and there is probably a bigger gap between the senior team and grass roots now than ever. Scratch the entire system, build from the kids and spend at least 10 years in the doldrums. We're looking like doing that anyway so might as well spend the time wisely...

I think that it might have been removed from the Sky EPG a few months ago but can still be added on manually.,

@redabbey Might be able to confirm.
