Monoghan have had some fine performances against the dubs in recent years, the score of some games didn't refelct how well they played A fine group of players who try play the game in the correct manner
Were in Division 1 final 2015 Relegated to Div 2 2016 Relegated to Div 3 2017 Relegated to Div 4 2018.
If anyone has a season ticket for any football team and not going to Croke Park tomorrow would you mind emailed me your ticket. Any non competing team will find a ticket in special purchases. ( looking for 1) Thank you.
Was at Pearce stadium on Paddys weekend and really looking forward to this one today at HQ. It'll be spicey. Galway are a very decent team well drilled with some good footballers. Looking forward to it.
Roscommon and Cavan was an enjoyable watch. Open game and goals galore. Can't see 8 goals in the next. Well done to the Rossie contingent here of IK @redabbey @Rossie and @Tconroy
Worst game I’ve ever seen. Last one that bad was Sligo v Galway semi final about 12 years ago. Feel sorry for Parsons. O’Connor is a dirty b*****d.
Wexford will have a serious game on there hands this week if the dubs put in the same effort as they did against Kilkenny.
Heading to Monaghan Tyrone this Sunday. Will be a sellout as no live TV Coverage. Actually hardly any live football coverage for rest of the month. Considering the Sky deal etc that is a bit of a joke. I suppose it might be welcomed by county boards as will be bigger attendances.
Personally would much rather watch hurling this time of the year when I'm neutral. That was poison on Sunday in Castlebar. Dublin v Kilkenny was a brilliant game.
A mate of mine knows someone that knows someone working down in the hospital in Castlebar and it's not looking good, I sincerely hope they're wrong or it's like some of the ITKs with transfer business but from what he heard playing football again will be a long time off for him if at all.
Poor fella, that's awful news. I did not appreciate thet seriousness of the injury at the time. Knee dislocations are usually bad news. As well as the dislocation, there is almost certainly severe ligament damage. And if unlucky there can be nerve and arterial damage. If he is "lucky" and avoids nerve and arterial damage it's probably more than 12-18 months recovery. I really hope we see him.on a pitch again.
