    Cheapest I can see is Dublin to Gatwick for €20, Gatwick to Rome for €122. Then return flight is €82. That's Wed-Fri (you get to Rome a few hours before KO)

    Expensive enough for this. Any decent priced accom to book? €343 Aer Lingus out Wednesday morning at 6:20am and back Thursday night at 8:35pm

    I am not going but just for the craic of it thought I might have a go at seeing could I source a cheap route to Rome that might suit someone. Best I could found is this.

    Day of the match Ryanair to Munich €31.00 06:10-9:40

    Vueling to Rome €84.99 13:40-15:05

    Have not looked at routes home but Rome to Munich has three airlines on the route. Lufthansa, Alitalia and Vueling.
    Dublin to Munich has Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Lufthansa on the route.

    Into Rome on the day of the mate with Aer Lingus, back on the afternoon flight the next day with Ryanair.

    Shannon -Heathrow -Dusseldorf -Rome on the Tuesday €250. Rome - Dublin on Thursday Aer Lingus €195. That's what I have booked.

    I totally changed my route, as fella I'm going with only wants 1 flight as scared flying etc... Dublin to pisa,train down.. the Rome to dublin
