Finished reading Paul stewart's book earlier, I'm amazed Liverpool signed him, it seemed to be common knowledge in London that he was on the Persian rugs, when souness went to meet him before signing there was a table full of beer bottles in front of him, that should've set the alarm bells ringing. He must have been absolutely caning it while at Liverpool cos he never got a look in for 2 years. Your man that abused him was some piece of work, evil b@stard.
I'd say the buzz in the camp at the moment must be unbelievable after the win during the week and the general positivity around the club. I imagine that this is the kind of culture that Klopp strives to create at a club and the reason that it's so difficult to have people around the squad who are not fully committed to it. Coutinho is a massive loss from a footballing point of view but Klopp seems to value his squad culture above all else.
I didn't really know where I should post this, it's a team photo but with a difference https://scontent.fdub5-1.fna.fbcdn.n...98&oe=5B12C476
I know Barnes was never the slimmest of lads but that is him at the very end of his career being kind!
The artists picked exactly 96 players as a tribute to the victims of Hillsborough and then 10 managers.
