I use Private Internet Access but not for Kodi.
I use it so I can watch BBC/ITV/CH4/RTE players and also to hide my ip when downloading.
It has almost 40 servers in various countries around the world and while some slow your speed more than others, the one I usually use has little effect on my speeds.

I've noticed using terrarium that if the episodes are under 350mb they work perfectly

But anything bigger usually freezes a bit ( hit and miss )

Only sports working on Kodi for myself is Sports devil ( LFC tv on it perfectly )

Have full sports package with sky at no extra cost was just paying for one sports channel (ss1)
But they just said they would update package at same cost for 18 months .

Lucky didn't get rid as Kodi for sports not great anymore

Some reason finding Modbro keeps freeszing on fire stick

Don't waste your time trying to get the old Mobdro working on Kodi, it's not worked for over a year.

If you've an Android device then install Mobdro on the device, then side load it onto the Firestick using the Apps2Fire app (available from the Playstore, if you don't already have it). Same for Terrarium TV :)

No real surprise there, but it will be interesting to see how well the ISPs try and enforce this as the pirates are usually one step ahead of everybody else.

One thing that article and many others fails to cover, is why so many of the respondents in the survey were accessing pirate sports - imho, it's down to price. If people felt that Sky & BT were not such a rip off, there would be a lot less pirate activity (I'm not saying none, but definitely a lot less). Perhaps it's time the journos started doing a few more stories on why people use pirate services and redirect some of the focus onto the real problem - the cost of watching sports !

Spot on Garrett about the prices. I'd imagine if prices were cheaper , and more affoardab people would sign back up to Sky and BT Sports.

My IPTV sub is out for the year . It's cost me £45 pound for the year for the whole Sky packages and football on this . Compared this to the full Official Sky Package which would be at leat £60 a month. It's a no brainer for me.

Ron you're comparing apples with spaceships there in fairness! Sky and BT are paying billions to buy the intellectual rights to the premier league as well as whatever other sports they're showing. Your IPTV supplier is probably paying a few hundred for a subscription and selling it on to you.

I also agree that price is the biggest reason for the huge uptake in these services but there's a genuine reason for that massive difference. I think Sky need to ultimately pull back to closer to 20 a month which to me sounds a very fair price for their offering, it still can't compete with your IPTV provider who has no overheads!

Well people who sell the IPTV do have overheads too, such as servers and staff they have to pay to mantain the service . Granted their overheads are nothing compared to Sky and BT Sports.

As you mentioned If the price was brought back to €20 a month I would be more than happy to pay for the sports but the prices Sky are Charging people now is pricing slot of people out of the market .

I'd love to know how you got from oranges to spaceships ;) :D

Agree on the €20 for sports btw - that would be fair (for all, not €20 for Sky and another €20 for BT).

I have Skysports but for experimentation

    I watched Utd in kodi

Live premiership add on it was perfect
    Adryanlist --- perfect
    Sports devil--- perfect
Falcon sports -- good bit slow to connect
    Spots world -- Good

Seemed ok on most add ons , except Supremacy as looking for a VPN

Just realised that I can't cast BT to the TV with my eir mobile account, you need the broadband. That's a massive hole in my streaming plans for the soccer this year.

Watched Arsenal game on live premier league ( Kodi/firestick) but decided to give Modbro on my firestick another chance after reinstalling it .
    Worked perfectly for BT 1.

Side note , terrarium tv is a god send .
