Its a joke. I've had nothing but problems with ntl all year.

Really poor customer service too

the subtitles keep coming up everytime i change channel on my ntl box even if you turn them off each time. it's been doing that for the last week and it's doing my head in..

Does anyone think that their new advert, offering digital+ TV, broadband, and phone for €49 per month, is good value?

I had the same problems as south with the subtitles (couldn't complain seeing as it wasn't a legal box).

When i was first getting ntl in i nearly went mad, their customer service is a joke.

Hi mate

My own Sky+ box has been acting up a bit of late, so I fear I may soon find myself in the same situation as you are in now.

However, do all you can not to turn to NTL, their CS is terrible, their service is definitely second to Sky (no red button, weaker quality picture & audio, less channels) ... the only real positive for NTL is that the seem to be cheaper.

Definitely ring Sky and tell them your thinking of moving because they won't give you the box for nothing, tell them that your a loyal customer to them, but now you've see NTL offering newbies XXXXX and you think Sky could at least give you the replacement kit, to keep your business etc. There have been many many posts on this forum, from members who've successfully gotten discounts out of Sky etc, so no doubt Sky are willing to try and do deals !

i rang sky some months ago looking for a discount they gave me three months at half price when that was up i again rang looking for a discount they said there was nothing they could do i then said i was cancelling my account the girl said hang on a minute and she would see what she could do she came back with 20% off for the next year
what i.m saying is sky will do what they can to keep good customers
a friend of mine works for chorus he is forever out on breakdowns so stay away from them
