Cruzeiro Striker Kleber Claims Liverpool have made an approach for his services. The 25-year-old only returned to his homeland in February as part of a deal which took Guilerme to Dynamo Kiev. Kleber had spent four years in Ukraine but headed back to South America in a move which also involved Cruzeiro receiving 5million euros (£4.3m) for their man. He has now revealed that he is attracting interest from Europe once more, with Liverpool keen to take him to England. "I have a proposal from Liverpool for 7million euros (£6m). We are analysing [it]" said the striker on SporTV's Arena programme in Brazil. Kleber penned a five-year contract upon his return to Belo Horizonte and it appears he would rather see out that deal than take on a new challenge in the Premier League. "I want to stay," he added. "If Cruzeiro offer the same amount, or we talk, I'd prefer to stay. But we haven't talked yet". I reckon he is using this to try garner a better deal for himself. With chelsea in for Kaka, Pato etc and united looking at Ribery and Huntelaar and city getting Tevez, Barry Etoo and god knows who else we have to make sure this season we add quality. Silva, Johnson, Owen and maybe another forward is all we need to improve the squad. Lets go get teh m quick

Thats why I want Johnson signed ASAP. To be honest he would be a fool to go back to chelseas bench cos he wont displace boswinga. Chelsea and city will outbid us, thats my fear. I can see city employing dirty tactics, ie outbidding everyone and then letting the deals "fall through" as they did with Kaka. If We bid 15 million for Silva, then they bid say 30 million and then withdraw or scupper the deal by offering crap personal terms then teams like Valencia will be holding out for bigger offers and screw us for every penny. This summer I would like all out transfer activity to be tied up by the end of june so hte squad can play together in preseason and also just to prevent my apoplectic summer rants.
