Moores is a strange one-he does genuinely love the club imo and since LFC had been in the Moores family for so many years he put emotion and sentimentality (reluctance to sell the club) ahead of doing what was best for us-selling us to someone wealthier who could make us competitive financially. He is largely responsible for us lagging so far behind other clubs financially but personally I think his bad decisions and reluctance to sell wasnt solely about money-his desperation to be the man to bring us the premier league crown was also a major factor which clouded his judgement.It was too late by the time he realised he'd taken the club as far as he could. For what its worth,Steve Morgan didnt have the financial power to get us where we need to be so we dodged a bullet there regardless of Moores motives at the time.
