Would this young lad be a decent signing? He's 21 and plays on the left so could he really be the answer to our left side?
Is'nt he the lad that the BBC Panorama tried to do a sting a couple of years back with us, they tried to make it look like we were tapping him up(fake agent, secret camera etc) Club sued the BBC and got an apologie I seem to remember, it was the same programme that tried to set Redknapp up but he kinda smelt a rat, but Fat Sams son got caught doing illegal agent stuff.
Tought it was Nathan Poritt? Could be wrong though. Wouldn't mind seeing him come in; bit of pace and can beat players. However with Benitez talking about hopefully hanging on to Leto (if WP issues can be sorted) I dont know if we would really be in for him.
i dont know about this guy. i think it depends on the price more than anything. if we got him for 5 million or under i would be quite happy.
Suggested this a while back-would gladly take him on the cheap and loan him out/use him as a squad player cos he has potential but is not ready yet to start for a championship winning side imo.
looks to have all that is needed tbh.the kind of signing that ends up saving you money in the long run.
Johnson is a good player would be a better signing then Downing but i wouldnt have him as a starter he would be a good bench player but it depends how much Boro would be looking for for him im sure they would want around 4-5 million for him maybe more
