Just read he wants out of Barca. He proved he can hack it in the premiership and would probably be available for £10m.

Had a good last season with Arsenal and is a good player technically but I never really rated him that highly-theres just something about him I dont like.Also think yossi is better and has more heart.

Based upon recent form, I 100% agree mate ... although if we went back 6-months, I did have my doubts. Lets hope he keeps the current form, in which case there's no question we should Not spend 10m on Hleb

What were his reasons for leaving arsenal?

hleb is a very good player, id love to see him at anfield, 10 million is a good price.

 

I'd have to disagree there. Yossi has put in 3 or 4 months of top performances, but can he/will he do it over a full season?.

He is a great lad etc, but IMO we need to be aiming higher than Yossi. Hleb was brilliant for Arsenal and would be a brilliant signing.

 

To be honest I like having Kuyt on the right think the shift he puts in would be missed if you took him out, he's added goals this season which is always a help and I think with someone like hleb on the right that area could become a weak spot where teams would attack us as I doubt he'd track back, I think the money would be best spent elsewhere. And I even agree that I'd prefer to have yossi in the team, a whole season with him in the form of the last few months and he'll be remembered as a great piece of business...

 

Did he not operate from the left for Arsenal? I'd only be interested in him for the left. Keep Kuyt on the right for another year.

 

Suppose like most at arsenal he could play in a few positions so I reckon your right he probably did play on the left. Didn't he already say he'd jump at the opportunity to play for byern munich? I still just think there are better out there. Would love to see someone like silva in a red jersey.

 

I'd love to see us try and sign Royston Drenthe from madrid, I think he's a class act and will only improve. He's strong so I think his game would really suit the PL and from what I've seen he's quick and creative too.

 

He cant get in the madrid team and hes a cnut aswell which doesnt help.

 

I would welcome this signing alot loved watching him play with Arensal, didn't see much of him with Madrid but would defo strength our squad, I would rate him so much higher than Yossi if being honest
