Just read he wants out of Barca. He proved he can hack it in the premiership and would probably be available for £10m.

Had a good last season with Arsenal and is a good player technically but I never really rated him that highly-theres just something about him I dont like.Also think yossi is better and has more heart.

Based upon recent form, I 100% agree mate ... although if we went back 6-months, I did have my doubts. Lets hope he keeps the current form, in which case there's no question we should Not spend 10m on Hleb

hleb is a very good player, id love to see him at anfield, 10 million is a good price.

Yossi is better.

I'd have to disagree there. Yossi has put in 3 or 4 months of top performances, but can he/will he do it over a full season?.

He is a great lad etc, but IMO we need to be aiming higher than Yossi. Hleb was brilliant for Arsenal and would be a brilliant signing.

To be honest I like having Kuyt on the right:D think the shift he puts in would be missed if you took him out, he's added goals this season which is always a help and I think with someone like hleb on the right that area could become a weak spot where teams would attack us as I doubt he'd track back, I think the money would be best spent elsewhere. And I even agree that I'd prefer to have yossi in the team, a whole season with him in the form of the last few months and he'll be remembered as a great piece of business...

Did he not operate from the left for Arsenal? I'd only be interested in him for the left. Keep Kuyt on the right for another year.

Suppose like most at arsenal he could play in a few positions so I reckon your right he probably did play on the left. Didn't he already say he'd jump at the opportunity to play for byern munich? I still just think there are better out there. Would love to see someone like silva in a red jersey.

I'd love to see us try and sign Royston Drenthe from madrid, I think he's a class act and will only improve. He's strong so I think his game would really suit the PL and from what I've seen he's quick and creative too.

Far from class imo. 18 games this season. 62 games in the last 4 years. Madrid fans hated him and booed him a few times due to his attitude. Same attitude as Babel who in fact is best friends with him. Wouldn't waste the money on him. Class Act! :D

Gave messi a hard time in a game as well, messi was lucky to come off with ankles. he is a fast fcker but as i said a big girl at the end of it.

I try and watch la liga most weekends and seen him at the beginning of the season tearing up the pitch and then he disappeared to the bench because his feelings were hurt:confused::D

Dont think either player mentioned here are good enough to play for us. Hleb is talented but just not at the level we need and Drenthe is just a cnut
