He can say he wants to stay in England all he wants but he'll be going to the highest bidder - most likely from Spain or Inter Milan.

To be quiet honest, considering the damage he has done to our title chances the past few weeks, I don't want him to join us.

Very good player but the £30 million price tag is way too much, a manc friend made a good point to me the other day, signing him on a 5 year contract would cost around £56 million when you add his wages with the transfer fee, no way would i dish out that much for him considering signing him would more than likely break up the Gerrard/Torres partnership up front...

Tevez - no thanks would ye take gary neville as fast - not a fcuking chance

Once a manc always a manc. Tevez single handedly won them 3 out of the last 5 games - hense the title

    He's a Manc.

IF he ends up leaving the Mancs then its still something I'd have a few problems with.
Have we got 30 million to spend on this fella? NO

Is he worth EVEN 20 million anyway? NO

Is he an awful lot different from Kuyt? not really

Are we even interested? I doubt it.

Never mind Tevez, he's their problem, not ours

    Torres cost us £24million.

Tevez could cost us another £6- £10million.

He isn't half the player Torres is, so no thanks.

BTW, a note on what some of you guys are saying about him being a manc...
He's a very good player, and if we could get him for £15million, I'd jump on him.
He would be a good addition to our team, lets not mistake that.
But the current price-tag being bandied about is to expensive for us for the type of player he is.

Thats why i think he could be a great addition here look at the amount of points he has won the mancs with crucial goals, Im not keen on us signing mancs but if we got him i think he could be a great addition to us, people have said he is no better than kuyt but id have to disagree he has a lot more quality on the ball a better first touch more pace, Im not saying we should dispense with dirk, he has been great for us this year and will be here for years to come hopefully i just think tevez would make our squad a lot stronger.

In saying that at 30 mil i think we would not stretch that far and as much as i rate him i dont think he is worth that much maybe around 18 - 20 mil

yeah seen that too, with wenger saying he hasnt a problem letting a player go to a rival club.

I actually wouldnt be surprised if Chelsea bought both of them (however tevez is likely to want 1st team football wherever he goes......one of the major reasons he wont end up at anfield).

i wouldn't take the manc for free! > he significantly helped them win the league this season & last season ....chewgob used him perfectly by not offering him a contract so that he'd go out on the field & burst a gut, & that's exactly what happened! :mad:like many fellow Reds on here, i'm SO DEPRESSED & devastated right now:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

    From SkySports:

Carlos Tevez admits his outing against Arsenal could have been his last at Old Trafford as a Manchester United player.

The Argentine striker is approaching the end of a two-year loan deal at United and has not reached an agreement on an extension.

United have held talks regarding a permanent deal, but reports claim the newly-crowned champions are reluctant to meet the asking price.

Tevez, who has scored important goals in recent weeks, has admitted that he is likely to leave United, but is keen to stay in the Premier League.

He started United's final home match of the season on Saturday as a 0-0 draw with Arsenal secured a third consecutive title.

The 25-year-old was replaced midway through the second half by Park Ji-sung and was given a rapturous reception by the Red Devils supporters.

The former West Ham man has become a firm fans' favourite during his two seasons at United and acknowledged the supporters as he was substituted.

When asked whether he was bidding farewell, Tevez told Sky Sports: "Maybe goodbye. It's very difficult."

He added: "It's emotional. I like Manchester, and I like the fans."

I dont like manchester. i dont like the fans. Its not gonna work im afraid.

Tenner says he stays with the mancs and there is no hope in hell of us signing him-Rafa was only winding Ferguson up.
