I bought a Samsung Home Cinema (HT-Z120) today and its the business for DVDs. Watched one there and sound was amazing. Can I play normal TV sound through the speakers etc? It says fcuk all about it in the manual and I tried a few different things. I have a Samsung Plasma. Anyone know what the story is. Surely I can play normal TV through the speakers?
Yes ! We have Sky+ and you can buy a cable from the TV shop which feeds your TV through the Home Cinema. Cost about €20 or so. Ask the shop - it's the business. Also don't forget that you can use ther Home Cinema to play CD's as well if you're having a house party -sound is superb..
Sorry - no - but both ends had a plasticy circular end - the TV shop guy knew of it straight away just tell him that you want to feed Sky + through the Home Cinema & he should hopefully point you in the right direction. Hope it works!
Bought a 40 inch lcd sony tv last xmass with home surround sound 5 speakers and the sound off it is unreal. Actually great bargains now in alot of the shops that sell them.
you might want to use a digital optical cable if your tv has an optic output...i have a few spare, if you want one, drop me a PM and I'll post it to you mate
+1 to obtain proper dolby digital dts and 5.1 surround sound you need an optical cable, I have the Sky HD and PS3 going into the Yamaha amp and the sound is quality
