After a few people suggested a Transfers forum I decided to run with it and see if it works,if it does not work I can just close it and move all the threads back into the main forum.

This is an excellent idea, I've seen it done on other forums.

If a transfer target is rumoured, the appropriate thread can be opened and the transfer debated.
It makes it easier to identify which target you want to discuss, rather than have to troll through 1 thread.

Good idea Paul, keeps everything neat & tidy!!!
Even if its just a summer and January transfer windows utilised thread, its a good idea.

Personally I think this could get very annoying over the next few weeks, I normally really posts by going through the 'Quick Links -> Today's Post' option and its started to get cluttered up with individual transfer stories already! I imagine its only going to get worse now that the season is almost over. Can't please everyone I suppose!

Excellent idea. I'd be happy enough this summer with Silva and Anelka in. Babel and Dossena going the other way please.

I read posts after Ive opened up the main forums page...
I enter each forum and post from there.

I'd imagine alot of others do it differently too, cant see a problem with this at all.
At least it doesn't clutter the forum it was previously in.

    Agree that its not great.
Also from the way ive seen on other forums the transfer forum becomes cluttered with complete drivel, and its already started here too.
But if thats the way its goina go, so be it.
