How have Roma not scored? Two complete sitters and they missed them. Even when Ronaldo went off injured with a slight cut to the head. Very frustrating stuff

roma arent a great team, bring on a better team and they will strugle. The utd keeper hasnt really being tested tonight, very disappointing

Roma gave the Mancs a good game pity they missed loads of those chances...

Yea but complete difference to last years game and old trafford. They're not a good side but they did push United and should have scored
Mancs made a lot of mistakes tonight and will no doubt be giving out about diving after the game but they didnt play well and Roma should and could have taken advantage.
Man U got away with it tonight alright, and with two relatively easy games against Dynamo Kiev coming up you'd imagine they'll have 12 points out of 12 before Sporting visit OT. Btw, why didn't Ronaldo just dab some vaseline on and play the last five minutes  There would have been some serious questions asked had they conceded a goal with only 10 men on the pitch

Although Kiev lost 2nite, is the next game against Utd at OT or in Kieve does anyone know?

hopefully the cold in russia/ ukraine will slow them down, ronaldo wont be any diving on hard frosty ground,

utd struggled there 2nite.found it very difficult to break roma down.it looks like the same old story for utd in europe, when they come up against the top european sides they will strugle.
roma had some good chances.give up the same chances against the top opposition and you will be punished.
have to say was selighted wen ronaldo spilt his eye brow/head my first thoughts were the long term effect/scaring on his perfectly shaped eyebrows(their defiately waxed) and also oh no his precious modelling career ha, the majority of players would have just got it covered up or something and got back on the pitch.

Wasn't it pathetic? He looked like his eye fell OFF.
I was watching it with my pops ( he's a Manc ) and he was all like: WTF? Get on the pitch ya big Jessie!!!
Bloody hilarious listening to my pops go on. I was in tears laughing at him.
For that, I thank Ronoldo. Best thing he ever did in a Utd shirt

Hes a big girls blouse, didnt Sammi get his head split open a few weeks back got patched up and only came off because they couldnt stop the bleeding.
Ronaldo probably didnt want the club doctors stitching up his face in case they damaged it and is at the plastic surgeons this morning getting it looked after

Yup. And John Terry played for almost a full have with a fractured cheek bone.
I played 20 minutes of a game once with a broken toe before the pain got to bad to go on.
What a man I am :D

Another poor showing from the scum, they havent a hope in winning CL, Roma arent the best and they should of scored at least 2, Utd are turning into the old arsenal of years gone by grinding out 1-0s all the time

Are you kidding Carra will have scored his next goal before an away team gets a penatly at the theatre of sh!te.
Short of decapitation everything is fair game in the Utd box but if Ronaldo after being breathed on 8 yards outside the box leaps into the box and falls over and then rolls over 16 times off the field of play clutching (and alternating) his face, knee, shin they get a penatly

That knock might toughen up Ronaldo, he now knows what It's like to get a good smack, he might think twice about hitting the deck when he is barely touched

I actually just laughed when Ronaldo got taken off. It didn't surprise me in the slightest. His "Me before the team" attitude was shown here.

I think opposing players are going to start really kicking him, after one or two dives to get free kicks your average player will just decide that if he is going to fall over and get a free you may as well get a proper kick in.
Its actually happened a few times already this season when he has been properly kicked and players have gotten away with it as he has been in too much pain to do his 'Klinsman' and the refs are so used to his theatrics they figure if he isnt flopping around the pitch like a half dead fish there must have been no contact.

He'll be off to Madrid first chance he gets anyway.Thing is if Chelsea or Us even had a player that dived as much as him it would be all over the news and daily rags and talked about how it's a disgrace etc...but because Utd are the press's team you hear F**k all about it:mad:
