Another must win, but likely to be our hardest task in our remaining games.

With Nando almost gauranteed to start now, I'd like to see a similar line-up to the one v Newcastle, hoping Xabi will be ok for this.

They've been getting good results lately, but they've not faced a team like us who are scoring goals for fun at the mo..

    I don't think it'll be another 3/4-0 job, but I'd gladly settle for a 2-1 now.

Think this is going to be a very diffcult game for us...

Upton park is a tiny pitch so i think it will be diffcult to play on as there wont be much space...

Think the Hammers are playing well lately, so i expect a tough game....

Its a must win game as have the last number of games. Don't care if its a classy or scrapy performance once we have the three points at the final whistle.

All that matters is 3 points, it doesnt matter if its 1-0 or 4-0.

Anyone heard anything about Alonso`s condition or if he`ll be fit for this? All I`ve heard is that he has bad bruising but nothing else???

Think we`ll definitely need Xabi`s passing to get 3 points here.....dont think it will be a walkover by any means.

This is the one I was most apprehensive about when looking at our last 8 or 9games,just really hope we scrape it.

Why do we always seem to play west ham at night?

Late KO saturday, the 0-0 at anfield this season, the one where Noble got a late pen last year,Nandos hat-trick last year, the time we beat them in our yellow shirts at upton park-kuyt and crouchie beauties, the game where luis and mullins were sent off before the cup final......theyve all been night!Weird....

I think Agger's cracker was the last time we played West Ham away from the lights, August 2006!

Xabi Alonso is a doubt for Saturday's trip to West Ham - though both Javier Mascherano and Fernando Torres should be fit.
Alonso left the field on a stretcher last weekend following a high challenge from Newcastle's Joey Barton.

The Spaniard was followed into the treatment room by Mascherano, who was substituted with a twisted ankle.

"Xabi is the main doubt for the weekend," Benitez told Liverpoolfc.tv. "He has been working and hopefully he will be better in a few days. He is improving but we have to wait.

"We'll have to check him for the weekend because it is more serious than Mascherano's injury."

Fernando Torres is in line for a return at Upton Park after missing Sunday's 3-0 win with a hamstring problem.

"He is training with the physios and maybe tomorrow he will start training with the rest of the team," added Benitez. "I think he will make the weekend."

Meanwhile, Torres is likely to travel with Spain to the Confederations Cup in South Africa next month, but Benitez is hopeful his star striker will have plenty of recuperation time during the summer.

He said: "We have to work together with the fitness coaches and also the doctors of Spain during the summer and hopefully it will be okay for him."

+1 Please let there be an early goal, hate West Ham since a young lad, was there for a game in the 80's and the supporters were absolute wankers, I have been well informed that the East Londoners are worse than ever, I hate West Ham and hope we beat them well, but will settle for the 3points, this is the game I have worried about

Always dread this fixture as west ham make it very tough and most times are up for this.

But, must win game, torres and stevie to start, good form at the moment i can see a 2-1 win.

A win to nothing ideal scenario.Would be fantastic achievement for Pepe to keep a clean sheet.
