I have just made a call to see what package could be done for us, maybe glen of the downs could be the next stop of the IrishKop golf tour!

In August I got quoted for Monday - Wednesday, 35 euro a head for a round of golf and a mixed grill or club sandwich then thursday - sunday 50 euro a head for the same.

Thats glen of the downs in wicklow. Maybe an option for the future.

Id agree with Darren on this Kev. I have played scramble before and while im not its biggest fan, its ur outin so watever you decide is grand. Personally, i think just give everyone a handicap and take it from there. Lookin forward to this now. P.S, anyone fancy sharin a golf buggy? Its one long course:D

I hear ye lads, my thoughts are if we're going to play a course to the standard of Luttrellstown and at 70 brick a round i'd like to see how I get on off my own bat.

We can play a scramble on a cheaper course where we're all out for a bit of craic and at little cost

I was thinking of driving then dropping the car home and hitting a local boozer, myself and Daz live 5 mins from the course. The clubhouse isn't that good for a few pints, we could drive to a boozer down the road and leave the cars there Hegos boozer or The Clonsilla Inn/The Carpenter although Hegos spot has a bookies right beside it;)

please wear a collar for the outing, its a championship course so we have to respect there rules, and wearing a collar is one of them (polo will do) , not sure what the weather is going to be like, but if you want there's changing rooms with shower facilities that we can use, just in case we get pissed on, id recommend you bring a change of gear with you.

As you know well there has only been two outing a d both have been won by 28 handicappers You and Pete. No one else has, including me! So as normal you will lose .5 for each shot over your handicap so if my calculations are correct you should lose 3.5 off your handicap FACT! I was being a bit harsh with 22, but also must check could you be disqualified for using another persons club!!! Will get back to you on that:p

Everybody knows you are a tin roofer :D as for lessons i have never had one, can you honestly say the same? you are the one spending big on new clubs gear memberships and so on,

Only one shark/bandit around here, i have played around 15 games of golf in my life and you you reckon i should be cut (not that i would mind as its a sign of improving in my eyes)after scoring 35 points - did you get cut after scoring 40+ points a few weeks ago :rolleyes:

Ha ha get the boat smark, everyone knows your game, and you getting done up like a woman just to get a bigger handicap was the final straw for me!

Is'nt it desperate times when people have to stoop so low as to accuse people of cheating and dressing like a woman to aid their insecurities regarding fellow golfers, you just proved yourself to be a Shark this weekend and stop trying to cover it up by using me as your escape route! Also theirs a nice lady that hangs around a certain golf course in tallaght that you may want to meeet in order for you to fulfill your fantasy of women golfers
