i hope this paper got it wrong, this is one of the hardest game's we have left, fingers crossed he'll make it.
says hes out of the hull game also. it will be tough without him but we have won without stevie before so why not do it again.
I spoke too soon Liverpool today confirmed Steven Gerrard faces at least another week on the sidelines as he continues to recover from a strain in his adductor muscle. The Reds' skipper aggravated the injury ahead of the clash with Chelsea in midweek, and has now been ruled out of Liverpool's Premier League fixture with Arsenal on Tuesday night. "In the training session before the Champions League game at Chelsea, Steven Gerrard unfortunately aggravated a small strain he had previously suffered in his adductor muscle," confirmed a club spokesman. "A scan has since confirmed our medical team's initial diagnosis and the player is expected to be out for between seven and ten days. "In the meantime, Steven will continue to receive intensive treatment on the injury at Melwood."

Not good news...think this is the thoughest game in the run in. We should still get 3 points here tho(fingers crossed). Hopefully he'll be back to full fitness for the remaining games.
He is a massive loss in any game but everyone needs to step it up now with 6 games left. Hull will be though alright playing away but we have to beat them and hopefully hull will still be needing points last game against united.
Obviously a player of his calibre is a big blow for any game but strangely enough I think his creative ability will be more sorely missed against Hull than it will for arsenal, where Id be more concerned if it was Tommy Masch who was absent. Hopefully we'll have enough to do both of them without stevie!
4 at Blackburn and 4 at Chelsea without him so hopefully we'll have enough alright to beat both of them.
Yeah those 2 results aswell as playing without him v the mancs at anfield for most of the game shows we're more than capable of doing a job without him. Hard to say whether Lucas will play or not.Arsenal arent overly physical so maybe but personally I'd just draft yossi into the 'hole' behind torres and leave xabi and masch to take care of business behind.
ah balls, was hoping he'd be fighting fit for the gooners, hopefully they get a rough ride from the chavs today, whilst we'll be fresh.
this is my view on this............ Arsenal have plenty of injury worries and if any of there top players carry so much as a knock after todays game Wenger will be looking at resting them, He will look at this and think ok Stevie is not playing i can leave cesc/theo on the bench and we still might take something out of the game, then Rafa names his starting 11 just before kick off and low an behold Stevie is playing Wengers plans are thrown into disarray and he makes a last minute change bringing in Cesc/theo who at that stage wont be mentally ready for a game as big as this one. Stevie goes on to score the winner in front of the kop
or we just win 3-0 and stevie doesnt play and has more time to recover. torres bangs in a couple and comes off after 60 minutes and alonso scores from his own half
