I am having problems with my e-mail, standard mircosoft outlook. What is happening is messages are being sent up to 10 times to people. Anyone have any idea what the problem/solution could be?

Bobby have you installed any new software lately? Anything along the lines of new Anti-Virus software? Sometimes they can cause certain problems with versions of MS Outlook

A mate of mine from a gaming site says to do this,im not so sure what he means but best of look

create a new PST file (Data file in outlook 2003). Copy all the email he wants into that. Then he's free to try and repair. Just add the PST file again when done.

I would say it has something to do with the Exchange server settings in Outlook.
You can run the Diagnostics to find problem.
If its set up through the likes of GMAIL, i would only uninstall as a last solution.
You can also export all emails before doing this
