I would say above everything you read what would be written in this article is fact. Somebody told me before him and Rafa are very close.

Benitez: No, no, we have a very good relationship with Valencia: with the board, with the people in charge. It was just one person who was talking too much. Things have to be done in the right way and now you know we are not thinking about Silva

Could this be Raffa speak for Silva is on the way. Remember back in January he told us keane was going nowhere.

Yeah they are close friends. Gullem Balague wrote a great book about Rafa & Liverpool after we won in Istanbul. It's called "A season on the brink" well worth the read as it gives a good insight into how Rafa works and the respect the Valencia fans still had for him after he left!

Absolutely great to hear Alonso is staying, he has been suberb this season and deserves a new contract.
Though it is difficult to know if Rafa is tellin fibs or not!

Just played the full interview. I for one think we are very lucky to have such an intelligent man as our manager. You do not often get to hear interviews as long as this and while we did not learn a lot about the '95' players mentioned We know that now Rafa has signed his contract he is focused on planning for the future.

Anyone else really really really wana know what players are involved in the 95 man list? I would love Rafa to sign Silva as i think he is the missing link. However, after this interview, i can't really see it happening.........or else rafa is keeping his cards close to his chest ;)
