how come the picture on these channels, Our own, Celtic's, real madrid tv etc never have as crisp a picture as the main sky channels? Are they broadcast with less bandwidth or something?

NTL and Chorus are merging under the one name in a few weeks and will be known as UPC. As was previously stated, NTL will be airing LFC TV from Saturday, so by default I would expect Chorus to do the same.

Your spot on with that assessment of NTL mate, and when I moved up to the big smoke I had every intention of getting a dish when I came up here, was fed up with NTL/Chorus carry on when I had it for the past few years - that was until I read the small print in the lease that no dishes were allowed be erected outside the apartment block building :mad:

So now I've signed my soul over to NTL for another 12 months :o

I hear John Barnes has a show...now that sounds like quality, wonder if he wraps teh theme tune? But on a serious note, is the station worthy or is it just another way of fleecin' money from us?

I think it is very well put together, but as with all channels of this kind there will be a lot of repeats. The John Barnes show is starting tonight and Carra is on it along with Ian St John and a poet from Liverpool, Dave Kirby.

For instance before the JB show tonight they are showing the re run of the reading game wihich will be worth seeing again. I think is it ok and the presenters seem good. I just hope they follow up their promise to show some of the academy and reserves games live. For the first team these days 99% of the games can be viewed live on tele, either on SKY, setanta, terrestrial or on funny Middle Eastern Tv in the pub on a sat, so the re runs of the game night not be that important to some.....unless FT keeps scoring hat trick and then you will watch games 24/7:D:D:D

I mssed it myself, but Sky +'ed on the repeat this morning. If FT keep scroring hat tricks you will be amazed at how many times you will wanna watch the matches:D

Best aspect of the channel (& the main reason I got it in) is seeing the acedemy highlights - where else are you going to see the stars of tomorrow playing ..... excellent stuff

I've been impressed with it so far, the build up show the hour before the the games is pretty decent.

Granted the games are repeated a fair bit but its free after all if you get the Setanta pack so you have to give credit where credit is due, at least LFC arent ripping off their fans the way the Mancs and Chavs do for their stations.
