unfortunatley a couple of weeks ago i had to put my laptop back to factory settings by the cd given with as it keep goin to a blue screen, wouldnt load.which meant i has to wipe everything including the 14233 songs i had on my itunes.
now with it back to normal ive to put the songs on itunes again, anyway of doin it,through transfer of my ipod, and not havin to get all the cds again.also would like to transfer it to a new hard drive to keep, incase my laptop starts playing up again.
    thanks in advance

There is a way you plug the Ipod in and go into either my documents or my computer and it says 'Hidden Folders' and it usually is turned off. If you flick them on the songs will show up in a few diff files then just drag them into Itunes.

took 2 & half hrs for the 1st bit, were you transfer the ipod to the computer, but remember it will vary on how many songs you have i had 14233.then it took 40mins from the computer to itunes.but its worth it
