Following last nights disappointing result the reds are now 50/1 to win the Champions League. I think with Terry out & nothing to lose (except the CL of course) this could be an interesting bet!!

    Yup,

I'd take it for a small bet ... anyone checked odds at different bookies yet to see if we can do any better ? ;)

    thanks

I think Boylesports are giving the best odds at 50/1
On a completely different note get on Zack Johnson for an e/w bet at the Masters at 40/1, he won it 2 years ago & is being tipped by the experts to push Tiger all the way.

That was for cheaper publicity than advertising would have cost them... If the mancs win the league they were right, if they don't they'll get even more publicity as the ones who paid out when they didn't have to.

Doubt it was for our benefit, more for the English where they are trying to get a greater foothold and get their name known a bit more than Ladbrokes, william Hill etc...

Bang on! All free publicity. never heard the robbers paying out early on Kilkenny to win the hurling the last couple of years when they were real dead certs. They look at the books and make decisions purely for what's good for their own pockets and not the punters as they'd have you believe.

50s with Boyles and 33s with Powers, well worth a quiet 10er u never know, if they can come to anfield and win 3-1 u can be sure we can go to the bridge and win 3-1!

47-1 on Betfair this morning ...

Following yesterday's league results, I'd have expected to see the odds shorten a bit more, but was happy enough as I pressed the "confirm" button ;)

Price to go through to semis seems tighter than i'd have expected. I'd still imagine though that backing us to go through this round, sticking the winnings on us to go through the semis against barca, and the winnings of that on us to win the final against the mancs or whoever, would wind up paying out a decent bit more than 47/1

Just got 45/1 on Bolyes. Great return on a tenner each way. Didn't think we'd be going for it tonight after last week and Gerard having a knock. But from what Rafa & the Players have all being saying this week I'm fairly confident we can push them all the way. Fingers crossed.

I've put a tenner on at 48-1 with Betfair, to win the CL this year. Assuming I collect, I'll put half that into the HJC Campaign, that would be c€250 (sorry but the other half is already spoken for ...)
