    Has anyone got documentary fact that they wear green because we were the first side they faced after the war

    Only an urban legend, in fact Switzerland were the first team after the war.
    Maybe something to do with the Flag of Saxony being green.
    Their home colours are taken from the State of Prussia flag....allegedly.

    This is correct.

    Similarly with Italy, there's no blue in the Italian flag, think its the House of Savoy.

    Likewise why Holland wear Oranje.
