I know its an overused phrase but I think this is now our biggest League game to date this season. If we can go 2 points clear, even with 2 games more played, it will pile the pressure on the Mancs. I would expect this to be a tricky one being straight after the intenationals. Any sort of win will be a great result.
Here's hoping we wake up on Thursday morning and get no bad news about injuries to any of our key players from the internationals the night before.
Every match from here on is going to be the most important one yet this season. If we keep winning the pressure will mount up on the manc. No injuries will be a big boost alright.
Dossena could be used but I reckon Insua could play, Insua played the whole 90 minutes against Sunderland. Just as a matter of intrest are you looking for tickets or something as I've never seen anybody to put up so many posts on a variety of subjects just as they've joined the site, just wondering
no mate i was talking to a lad at the villa game and he told me about the site so i got on. great forum.
thanks mate. i would not be surprised if lucas start on saturday because mascherano will only be getting back from argentina.
Hopefully he sticks with Fabio, he has been class this season and recently seems to have knocked the myth on the head that he cant play more than one game a week. Couple that with the fact he's not been away on international duty think we may see the same team that turned Villa over (bar international knocks of course).
Huge game, realistically we really need to win every game for the rest of the season to stand a chance of winning the league so each game is a potential league-finisher for us. Let's deal with the pressure that brings on saturday and then see how well the dirty mancs cope with the pressure on sunday. COME ON YOU REDS!!!
Hopefully we can get a performance in here. I'd be fairly confident we can put in a decent one as apart from Boro away, we have been super solid away from home generally. It might be too much to expect another steamroller performance, but I'll take a 1-0 win in the last second.
