Went to see this today and its not a cinema flick. Its more of a tv type movie you would expect on BBC2 or Channel 4. If whats protrayed in the film is true then it shows Clough in a pretty bad light and makes it look like Peter Taylor was the real brains behind the management duo at Derby.
i was watching a documentary on him a few nights ago and clough's family are very much against the book and movie. The book is supposed to show in a very poor light and Johnny Giles sued the author about some of the stuff in it and won. Probably won't rush to the cinema for it though. I still haven't got over marley and me.
Why would you want to see it when Giles describes it as a fabrication that does not acurately portray Clough as he was?
