Tell them to f-off as everyone knows that their customer service team will be non exsistent when you have a problem.

Actually, have you been onto them lately? Seems they have improved their customer service considerably, especially since that Primetime show was aired on RTE a while back. Had to get onto them regarding two seperate issues (one a technical fault with the new card, one a house move) and I both occasions I have to say I was pretty impressed. Didn't have to wait all that long on the phone, those that I was speaking to were sound and helpful out, and I had an engineer to my front door within 2 days on both occasions. Would agree with you Paul that they were brutal beyond belief, but I think there heading in the right direction.

As for the broadband, it all depends on the contention rate in my experience. If your living in a city centre location where you contending with 24 other users for 10mb of broadband in the evening after work it could be pretty poor. If your living further out and 2 users are contending for 10mb of broadband at the same time of day its the job. Definitely much cheaper than Eircom as well, especially if you don't need a phone line in the house.

Got the 20mb line with chorus and never had any issues. Prob cos the little ones i fixed myself - the joys the computer science student. Its a great connection, like crazy fast.

I can't comment on the customer service though. But it is ridiculously fast

Haha, they've gone downhill since you left Jamie! :D

Nah they fooked me over about a card-swap for the TV a few weeks ago, never turned up after the boss waited on them all day. Kept saying "we'll be there in the next hour" every time I rang them.

Broadband service is good though. In fairness.

yeah the tv crowd in there are useless mainly because they are treated like shit by employers and customers so there view on it is whats the point when every second customer is ringing up looking for an argument. A little tip is if your nice and polite they will help you more than having an angry tone . In saying that there are some genuine dickheads out there aswell. The broadband crowd are all fairly solid in there .

Yeah spot on. That'd be my take on them too. TV crowd seem brutal, but the Broadband section seem to be very much on the ball.

They should have transferred our Jaza to the TV Section me thinks, could have kicked their asses into shape

I get 10mb from UPC and have no problems with it. Originally wanted to get tv from them aswell but they made a f*ck up so I decided not to give them anymore money than I had to.
