laptop problem

    Hi guys,quick question a friend asked me to have a look at their laptop,when it is turned on a message reads :loading PBR for descriptor 2.... done.

    and theres a flashing line underneath it but nothing else is happening,i never seen that before,ta in advance.

    Try the following:

    1. Put in the Windows XP/Vista cd and boot from the cd
    2. Press R when asked at initial bootup options
    3. Wait, then press 1 and enter
    4. Type "FIXBOOT"
    5. Press enter and type "y", then enter again and reboot your system
    6. Hope and pray it works :p
