Tickets go on sale this Friday. Don't think I could hack the three day camping. What's the story if you buy a day ticket? Can you use it for any of the days or do have choose the day when you are buying?

Its just down the road from me so its grand I dont camp tough just come back into the town and the pubs open late so its better than all all the camping As for the day ticket you pick your day when your buyin the ticket
Been a while since I've been to Oxegen but I'd never recommend someone to camp there. It's way too messy. I've been to other, far better run festivals and had no problem camping. Oxegen just attracts a lot of drunk eejits. It's been 3 years since I was there though so maybe it's cleaned up its act a bit. You can get 3 day passes aswell if you want to go all of the days, but not camp.
Looking at the line up there will be nobody left for the electric picnic. Ive been going since witness and my sister in law who is 17 says to me,its a great line up this year.All the cool bands for my age and for you all the oldies like the manics/james and blur.And there was i at 26 thinking i was young!
I'm going anyway...made my decision after seeing the Killers a few weeks back, what a gig. I caught their drumstick then too.
pity all them cool bands havent a patch on what we listened to ey? gonna give it a miss for the 2nd year on the trot,myt go down for a day thing,hope blur on the same day as the specials,its the only reason i would go down.Gonna head to benicassim this year Oasis & Paul Weller with a week in the sun was just too much to turn down www.fiberfib.com
There are generally quite a high number of drunken, ignorant people at this festival. Mainly a young crowd but I wouldn't discourage anyone from going. It's a great weekend and if you find a nice place in the corner somewhere to camp it's great.
doesnt matter if its 90% the same lineup as the last 3 years, the same plebs will continue to go and make millions for MCD.
or you could just go to a better run European Festival for the same price including your flights and have much more fun.
Or you could just work security at it,get paid to watch the bands and make sure gorgeous girls in very little arent up to much.All of this and the missus is delighted that your bringing in a few extra quid.Its a win win
corcaigh, what european festivals would you recommend? My friend said some belgian festival and stuff and I might be tempted instead of Oxegen!
