Some bookies have mark your card sections on the screens behind the counters which indicate matches that the customer cannot have more than a certain amount on i.e €50 on at 6/4 and the remainder at 10/11 type of thing. Its football matches they pick out as dangerous so they ask the staff to monitor the money going on that particular match(es). Ladbrokes do it and I am sure others do to so if anyone knows anybody who works in a bookies maybe try ask every now and again. The public cant see these messages its only available through the staff section on the screens behind the desk. The mark your card for today is: Blue Square Premier - Weymouth Vs Rusden & Diamonds Rusden & Diamonds, away win, €20 at 11/8, remainder at 4/5 Hope this helps a few of us here who like to have a flutter on the football!!
i know fcuk all about that league but looking at the table, weymouth are 2 points ahead of rushden so i don't see why the bookies would see it as such a dangerous fixture. if it was burton away to weymouth i'd say fair enough....
I done a bit of digging about this game and find that Rushden were as big as 15/8 midweek for this game but Weymouth are a club in turmoil and( rumour has it) are allowing players to terminate their contracts if they can find other employers, it is also believed they will only have 4 1st teamers available to them for this game.
I was going to say before the game that the last time I done one of these was last season & Peterhead in Scotland won 7-0! I didnt want to tempt fate! Well... Weymouth 0-9 Rushden & Diamonds. 1 for 1 lads!
9-0 holy sh*t. Only had a quick look this at PP online and couldn;t see the game up so presumed they had pulled it. Fair play to anyone that got on
I text a mate in a bookies this morning asking if there was any mark your cards on the football today. I just text him there and said I will be texting u next weekend aswell!!
i backed chelsea half time/full time rushden and arsenal in a 25 euro treble cheers for the heads up anyway, got a sweat out of it.
The 'Mark Your Card' matches are not always 4/5, 4/6 type prices its often a nice price, its good to be able to get such info from the bookies!!
