A very interesting read,Roy speaks honestly about his time at Sunderland and the modern footballer.I found it a great read, its to big to copy so here is a link. The box office awaits the return of a matinee idol
I thoroughly it enjoyed myself...Humphries' certainly is a talented writer, they way in which the interview was articulated... Roy certainly was honest, and if anything, we've a fuller picture in our mind what really happened... But i think the timing of the interview is no coincidence...Roy has had his break, and is looking to get back into the game...No better way to tell the world... And even a nice word for Rafa!
yeah its a good read, but its very like his book, he always seems to get the raw deal. he was given so much money i think it was around 100 mil, and bought in poor avge players, and then had the neck to say, i had enough with sunderland, end of bloody story. Yeah right roy, you can get the boat on that one.
Nice to see him speak well of Rafa. I always thought that Rafa would just close himself off to other managers after the game and go straight to the video room. Glad he's not one of the "Fergie wine club", that shit pisses me off.
hate everything about united but have always admired keane(dont want a saipan debate here).Just find him a very complex and articulate guy and footballer. Humphries is a great writer and we are lucky in Ireland to have so many good colour writers,Humphries,Fanning,Hogan,Paul Kimmage and David Walsh.
Interesting read alright. Personally I Hate the sight of him. He is an egomaniac. His comments on Clive Clarke some the man up in my opinion. ''The staff came in and said Clive Clarke has had a heart attack. I said, ‘Is he okay? I’m shocked they found one, you could never tell by the way he plays’. Clive Clarke could have died on the pitch that night, what a w*nker
