Played this for the first time ever last weekend and thought it was savage craic. The boxing was a good as any workout you would get in a gym. I am tempted to get one myself, but what's it like for long term playability. I only played the Wii sports and I could see them getting boring after a while unless you play multiplayer. Seems good craic with a group of people and a few bevies though? What's the general type of games? Do they have all the big titles, or more basic type group games? Can you play online and is it free to do that?
I dont really play it a whole lot but Im not mad about computer games but I have to admit Wii Sports is great craic with a group and a few cans, especially if your entertaining couples etc.. Maybe I just need to buy a few games.
Mario Kart online is class, sonic vs mario olympics is gr8 fun too, tiger woods 09 is supposed to be class too, more of a PS3 man myself, the kids love the wii though
Just get one!! Brilliant fun with it. Also wiifit with Family Ski excellent fun, Mario Galaxy, just great crack!
I have one, and to be honest i would probably play it more than if i had a ps3 or xbox. im not big into playing games on my own anymore, so i think the wii from that point of view is alot more social. as mentioned above, the sports and mario kart are great interactive games when a few of your pals get together. Mario kart is brilliant game. And the balance board is excellent too (although i dont have one of these so cant really comment on the longevity of it)
mario kart on line is 100% class, great fun racing with other people online, is there anyone who would like to have a race over the weekend, if so i can leave my lic number
The price of games online are coming down a LOT. Especially compared to paying €50-55 for a new release in the shops. If you buy Wii point 5000 for €50 you can downlod games onto your console do people know if they register with nintendo online you can build wii point or bhuy them as above, if you register and give the serial number you get certain amount of wii stars that can be changed for wii points and they can get you games , additions, etc Any help needed let me know.
wrong, the wii version is separate to the 360 and ps3 versions which come out for the xmas season around october. the latest wii 2009 version has only been released about 6 weeks ago and is meant to be excellent with a wii-specific control system.
If people have seen any decent deals on Wii consoles etc can they post them up.? Are they any cheaper up the north.?
How do you mean wii-specific control system, do you play pro evo using the nunchuck and controller or is there a specific control pad for pro evo? Can't imagine what it's like playing pro evo on the wii?
