This guy as I've said before on the old forum is a player I really admire. Every time I've seen him play in last few seasons he brings a spark of life to the game with his tricks and willingness to take on defenders. Would definately gives us the flair required, to open up disciplined defences, that can sometimes be missing from our play. Would rather him than simao or malouda if we had 15m to spend on a winger. He was young when he was at Barca............. Rafa take note!!
some great skill and goals in that youtube clip. Don't know much about him but he seems pretty useful on both wings and can cross pretty well, which for some reason our wing players had a problem with this season (especially from corner kicks, which drove me mental) would welcome him more than simao.
Good point about the corners redeagle. When I noticed it first I kept making excuses for them because of the space available / size of of pitch etc but the truth is we were crap, so many times failing to get it past the first defender.
It was a worry. Set pieces are integral, an a clever one can unlock the meanest defences ( ala Agger against bluescum). I'm sure senor benitez has taken note and improvements will be seen next year.
Yeah I hope so. It was a bit weird really insofar as it was all of them, Pennant, Steivie G, Xabi, HK when he played and pretty much anyone else who took a corner. Maybe we we're trying to be too clever, not sure myself but I really hope it gets sorted
Fingers crossed - he is definitely and upgrade on what we have. He looked very dangerous in the champions league last year.
Quaresma reminds me of Cristiano Ronaldo. A true "flair" player. I really hope we sign him but don't think Benitez generally goes for flair players. Maybe a cheeky bid for Kevin Kilbane might prise him away from ???? Jesus, he's so bad i can't even remember who he's playing for these days Anyway, Quaresma is QUALITY - Go get him Rafa (if you happen to be reading this)
