Hello everyone, New to the boards here. I'm a long time reader/visitor to this forum, but only recently decided to join because I was shocked at some of the over reactions to our club in the last few weeks. Some of the negative responses to recent results were atrocious. I can understand posts being angry and frustrated, but some people were way, way out of line. I'm a Liverpool fan, obviously. I visit numerous other boards. I'm a registered member on a different Liverpool forum, but also a Premiership forum, a Man United forum, an Arsenal forum and a Chelsea one. I usually visit those sites to get up to date news on the clubs, insider gossip, and cause I just love talking about football. On this forum, are you guys receptive to fans of other clubs, or is it Liverpool fans only? Obviously wind up posters wouldn't be welcome, but I have always found decent discussions with fans from other clubs, they can offer an interesting "outsider looking in" perspective. I've been reading these forums for about a 18 months now, and know that despite having a fair few knee-jerk reaction posters on here, there are some pretty solid posters here too. So hopefully, over time, I will be able to establish myself as one of the better posters, and indeed better type of fan too. I do like a good debate though, so I want to say now that any clashes of opinion with me - don't take it personally! I also love to play devil's advocate on certain issues too, in order to generate discussion. But hopefully everyone will know that its meant in good spirits and its intention is to generate more discussion, not rub people up the wrong way. About myself, we'll I'm 25 years old. I am originally from Wexford but have done a fair bit of traveling, so no dirty Wexford accent on me - dont worry! I moved to Liverpool for 4 years to study Computer Science BSc in Carmel College (which is an off-shoot of Liverpool university). The really cool thing about this is, I was living on Prescot Road in Merseyside, and I was able to get to pretty much all of Liverpool's home matches for my time there. Well, all the ones I could afford, I was a student at the end of the day! I then moved to Canada with my girlfriend for a year to do some work in the boring, mundane world of computing. But it was a really well paying job, and a beautiful, beautiful country. Just back in Ireland a couple of months ago, but the plan is to move back to Merseyside this summer and be a regular at Anfield for the remainder of its years. So, I just wanted to say hi to everyone anyway. Hope we can enjoy some good banter and a couple of good arguments too!
