anyone been in it yet? i went to see keane there last night have to say i was very impressed with the new layout even if it is 6lids for a bottle of bud .
Shit lads those prices are fookig steep alrite Heading there for The Killers gig in feb......note to brain: get pissed before hand or bring a hip flask!!
Was at the Keane gig myself last night. Really good i thought. As for the O2 i was very impressed. No Q'ing for the bar or anything. Ws expensive though but at gigs prices usually are sky high..
Was talking to a lad who worked at the bar for the Kings of Leon gig. He said a Guiness was €5.50, beer €6, bottle €7. Anyone confirm this? He claimed the bar pulled in €250,000 which works out an average of €18 being spent on booze by each person (14,000 capacity) Considering a lot of people were driving/not drinking it means the drinkers would have spent a shedload. Of course this fella might have been talkin through his arse....
Bringin herself to Chris Brown on saturday lookin forward to seeing the new place....dont think i will be drinking by the sounds of it tough
Christ going to the Killers in Feb and those prices are disgraceful...I certainly wont be getting the round at the o2!
Went to see Snow Patrol last night. Great gig and i was very impressed by the new layout of the depot.
No he's legit, I was also at that concert(KOL) and it was indeed €6 for a pint and €7 for a bottle which hersrlf was drinking. I would well believe they made that kind of money. Robbing buggers great concert and venue though
Looks like there won't be in the future either, at those prices - the only message that they will understand at The Point, is when we all refuse to buy from them, so slip in those hip flasks everyone
Mrs Steve1978 is just in from boyzone in the o2. 6euro for a longkneck is shockin alrite, but 15 lids for a programme??? Fookin shockin.
