Mario Kart Wii - wireless network connection issue

    One of the lads in work is having a problem going online with his Wii to play Mario Kart.

    If he take off WEP he can connect to the web fine, but when WEP is on (128bit) he cannot get online, even though he is typing in his password.

    Anyone else see/resolve this?

    WEP is useless to be honest - can be quickly cracked. When he has WEP turned on in his router, can he connect to net with laptop etc ok?

    Maybe try WPA with data encryption TKIP.

    Just on the subject of Mario Kart, was anything ever arranged for an IrishKop Mario Kart online grand prix ???????

    Poll due to close on 26th. Have only received 6 replies and they're spread out over the week so we'll see how it goes. Would like to do something next week.
