Could be worse, could have got Mike Reilly

At least this one is simple if we lose this we've no chance of winning the competition so we won't e arguing about our title credentials

Was just about to come on and deliver the bad news meself D-Red-thanks for doin the dirtywork for me;)

Nah bennett is even worse than reilly in my opinion. The pedantic, card happy, manc loving prick.Givin foul throws and makin our wall move back and stoppin us takin quick frees as well as giving us **** all big decisions the bottler.

Surprised mariner doesnt get more stick on here either.hes my least favourite ref the prick-he just hasnt cost us in a high profile game yet,but has plenty of times in the smaller ones:mad:

    Bring back Clattenburg!

:D Ninja's about as big a fan of Bennett as me.

About Our shape for this one, Back to Gerrard behind Torres I'm guessing?
    And Robbie to miss out.

Everton have so many players out that they'll have an almost identical line-up to last night, same formation, same tactics guaranteed.

Let's hope we get an early one and bring them out of their shell this time.

Those gits would love another draw and replay

Yeah I'd say he's in mate.

I can't wait for this one to come around, just to get rid of the bad taste that late goal last night left.

More importantly it'd be lovely to win the Cup this year, with the 20th anniversary, and beating Everton along the way would be magic! :)

yeah this is a perfect opportunity to get revenge for last night so soon.

Have a sneeky feeling that we might just do it this year for the 96 aswell which would be brilliant.

Do we think its going to be a full strength team bar pepe or is it going to be a mix.wouldnt be surprised to see lucas start tbh although i think masch will be recalled aswell.

Refs don't win and lose games, they are usually a scapegoat for other shortcomings. I know we feel like we've had a rough ride with this fella in the past, but all he can do is call it as he sees it. It left a bitter taste seeing masch walk at scum trafford last season, but in the cold light of day he was left with no choice. Let's do our talking on the pitch and the only man in black we should worry about is Anichebe, he gave Sami a tough time last night.

Refs can have a huge say in the outcome of a match.fact.

Reilly not giving the tiago handball infront of the kop, against roma a few years ago when the ref pointed to the penalty spot but then changed to the corner flag-we might never have won the treble that year, the ref who gave luis "the ghost goal" in 2005 - istanbul might never have happened, stiles giving the chavs that ludacris peno down the annie rd end last year, the list goes on and on.a good ref is essential for the big games and bennett isnt one of them.

Carra must play in the centre... and gerrard must play behind torres..
(for the rest of the season preferbably)
and Rafa should take the shackles off..and go all out to attack them.

One thing for sure Rafa will not want a draw, so he will go for an attacking line up.

Gerrard behind Torres for this one and Masch back in beside Xabi. Carra will play in the centre beside Marty and Arbeloa will be back. Want to win this one for the 96! Please no Yossi, Lucas or Babel, Please!!

Everton will play the same team again so i hope Rafa keeps a strong team for this. Problem is he will not due to Wigan game coming in midweek. Be a shame if Pepe is not palying because we'd have lost last Monday without he's 2 world class saves.

While I like to se us win any game against the bitters, I can't say that i'll have much issue with players being rested for this one. Wigan away on the Wed and Chelsea the following Sun. They have to take priority unfortunately.
