Fcuksake no Andy Reid, No Stephen Ireland, No Lee Carsley,

Trap is starting to look too stubborn for his own good im baffled that liam miller now of qpr can get in ahead of those boys and caleb folan ahead of cillian sheridan makes no sense either

Ireland isnt there coz he cant be arsed gettin out of bed....and Reid isnt there coz he wouldnt go to bed when Trap told him to.

As for the others, you would think you would be getting used to managers and their strange selections!!!?;)

Agree with you on the Reid issue but not at all Cillian Sheridan. Folen is in there because of his size, we have better options then Seridan in Hunt Doyle and Keane.

Ireland is out until he decides to come back

Think Carsley is past it, we have to look to the future

Sheridan is gettin gettin game time at celtic,Folan has not played one minute for hull since the poland game he might be an awkward bugger as stan would say but surely sheridan is a better option

From what i heard ireland said he would come back if he was named in the squad according to his dad(in todays papers) but trap has not named him and as for carsley he has been a solid performer for birmingham this season and should be in .

You would think tha trap just copies and pastes his last squad and e mails it to the fai from his villa in milan.

IM tellin yez all he is not the messiah he was made out to be by the fai on his appointment. People bang on about how we have 7 points already but really Georgia(neutral ground), A draw away to montenegro(1st competitive game) and a scrappy 1-0 at homw to cyprus is nothing to be dancing in the streets about. When the bulgaria and italy games come around we will be found out

Fcuk Ireland, Hes after getting his chance to come back and turned it down. Why should they pussy foot around him. Hes obviously got issues and has always been trouble. He had a falling out with Kerr too underage and never really played.

For Andy Reid, Trapp just doesn rate him and from what Ive seen in most games this season I agree. We miss Stephen Reid big time.

Stick to my origional point Sheridan is no way a better option to Keane, Doyle and Hunt. Folan offers something different with 10 min to go and needing a goal (i.e. just lumping it into the box and forcing mistakes)

Stephen Ireland will be called up as soon as he make himself available, nothing to do with his dad, Trap will call him up once he make a simple phone call and says he will play.

Montenegro played Bulgaria in a competitive game 4 days before they played us, they played them off the park and were unlucky to draw 2-2 conceeding an injury time free kick. They are a really good side, especially at home

Yeah and bulgaria were in disarray under their old coach ive a feeling they will get their act together for march when they face us we had 5 or 6 clear chances to win that game robbie missed 2 sitters in that match(nothin new there) and we should have comfortably beat them.

Then there was the display against cyprus one nil up after 5 mins we were all sitting in croke park waiting on ireland to go for the jugular. What happens next , ireland park the bus and play counter attack football:eek::eek: Only for given they would have sneaked a draw or possibly have won it.

Trap was quite happy with the teams display that night illustrated by his decision not to make a sub until the 91st min.

Im sorry but we wont be going to south africa under this man we will make the play offs due to bulgarias shocking start but we will be found out in the play offs.

And anyone that thinks im just an armchair fan saying what i read in the paper im not, i havent missed a home game since my first against chile in 91 roy keanes debut and go to most of the away games so i care deeply about the irish team thats why i know that traps reign will end in tears coz its just not been good enough.

So is your point that Carsley, Sheridan and Reid would be the answer to the problems?

You say we will be 'found out against' Bulgaria then you say they are crap.

If we carved out 6 chances against Montenegro surely the manager did well there with tactics. I was also at that game and was happy with the result on the basis of the opposition (we were a little unlucky not to win but they could say the same)

I will give you the cyprus game was terrible but we won, and did have a few chances to wrap the game up (I was happy with the points, especially after their showing against Italy where they were desperatly unlucky not to beat them)

Not the answer to our problems but carsley sheridan reid are better options in our squad than miller folan and keogh.
Yes i think bulgaria could cause us damage at home under their new coach but they were pants under their old coach at the start of the campaign and could now be a different proposition.
Yes we carved out chances against montenegro but they had their chances as well against us but it annoys me that everyone celebated a draw against a team playing for the first time.

This is ireland best chance of qualification because the other teams in the group are so bad(italy are no great shakes either) but i dont believe we have the manager to take advantage of it. He has a system and he will stick to it come hell or high water

I see your point dont rate any of them players to be honest (except I would have folan in there)

Hope you end up being proved wrong, last time Ireland qualfied (2002) there was games against the smaller nations where we were not too convincing, pick up as many points as possible (be happy with 3 in any game) and then lift you game for the better opposition - there is comparisons to be had with this years liverpool team.

It is definatley the poorest Ireland squad since I can remember but I really think we will qualify - come on you boys in green

If Trap gets us to the play offs, I don't give a shit what squads he picks or what Eamo Donkey thinks. Its all about results and 1-0 against Georgia will do. Bulgaria are all over the shop and we defo can come second.

Stephen Ireland is from Cork. Nothing like a Corkonian to turn his or her back on their country. If I had my way, I would detach the imbreds from the country. If I ever get within a 100m of the odius little nincompoop, I will glady twat his on behalf of the other 31 counties of our great land.

Just sorted the rest of my travel and accomadation for Italy and I cant wait. As for Reid, he crossed Trap and is paying the price.

Andrews has to start this game ahead of Gibson, he brings alot more to the team IMO.

Would like to have seen St Ledger of PNE, McCann of Burnley and Wilson of Portsmouth called up the squad, but Trapp is old school in that he likes to keep a settled group, and will only make changes when necessary.

Hopefully there will be a friendly later in the year to blood some new talent.
