Went to see it last night, have to say it was top quality. Was a bit wary because the missus was saying it was a love story. Its the story of a young man completely uneducated from the slums (i.e slumdog) in Mumbai who goes on "Who wants be a Millionaire" India. Films starts with him being interogated by police who think he cheats on it and his life story is told in flashback as he explains how knew the answer to each question. Brilliantly shot, great preformances, gets a small bit cheesy near the end but is a quality flick. Really enjoyed it.
Have to agree with you there Niall. Went to see it last weekend and it was top notch - would highly recommend anyone to go see it.
think anwar out of skins is the main man in the film-seen on mtv news it got loads of nominations for some award or other.mite download it tonight.
Yeah read that somewhere, and the female lead is some model who never acted in a movie before. The younger versions of the character steal the movie though.
Senn it the other day and would have to agree with everyone, a very good well told and origanal film 8/10
they played a fantastic part alright! watched it last night and thought it was a very good film and like everyone else above i would recommend it to everyone.
Is it one of them films that you should go to the cinema and see? theres a few feeds of it going about that im tempted to watch, but i dont wanna miss any cinema effects etc
think im gonna chill out and watch this tonight before bed.been looking for a good stream for ages but cant find any bar the megavideo ones which cut out after 72 mins.I know the mods dont like us postin streams on here which is fair enough but if someone has one could they please PM it to me and save me some time and effort?!cheers!
