At least now Chelsea are back to third favourites. Even after the other day, some people were still putting us as only third favourites. Wigan and Bolton are both potential banana skins, not guaranteed that the scum will be top by Saturday, although more likely than not. As for the league as a whole, they'd have to be favourites, but we'll give them a fight I reckon and who knows, we may just win the fight?

could be worth laying the scum at 1.25. 40 quid bet is 10 liability. I can see them beating them no bother though. two or three nil.

Hi
I think it's best we're not favorites with all the bookies at the moment, our team dont need the pressure while we do (as fans) need decent odds :D
... seriously, I think Torres has been quoted a bit out of context here, with some of the press trying to turn what he said into Torres almost giving up on the title challenge this year or indicating he thinks Utd may win, which is not the case as I see it.

Press are trying to twist every word we say at the moment.

don't see what the fuss is about. Everyone bigs up their rivals. The press just put their own spin on things

its a good thing torres saying the scum are favourites, no harm in talking the man ure up a little bit and get the tabloids off our case at the moment. rafa wont like it with torres saying this though!! remember the year we won the european cup and a few months earlier stevie g said we couldnt win it, and rafa had a few words with him about his comments.

United deserve the favourite tag as more often than not they close out the league from here, as we used to when we won leagues.
What annoys me is the number of Scum fans (former friends til the end of the season) are now betting on by what margin they win the league by. A few have gone for more than 6 points, though I dont know what odds they got or where they put the bets on. This is what makes them scum, they always look at new ways to rubs your nose in it.

That is exactly the type of attitude we want them to have, and their players too. There's a long way to go and they've put alot of energy into winning the games in hand to go (IF they win tomorrow) a single point clear. That's when we want the arrogance and complacency to come in, and without Rooney for a few weeks and with midweeks games in the carling cup and against Fulham in the other game in hand to come, hopefully some tired legs as well. It is far from over, something I think the redmen will be well up for... YNWA
