just read on another board that on Wednesday there will be a 50%off sale in all zavvi ireland stores.Some good bargains to be got,just throwing the heads up out.

Isnt it obvious that Raven is in fact the owner of the Zavvi franchise and is tricking us into his stores


Seriously though,should be well worth a look.might pick up some box sets on the cheap.

 

B@llox!!! I just bought the Only fools and horses boxset for 90quid online last week... bet they have it there for some crazy price!!!

 

There having the sale due to the company in liquidation. I was talking to a worker yesterday. They could be gone by the end of this week.

 

Got a few box sets in Zavvi at the weekend, 24, The Sopranos, Seinfeld, Over There..
30% off Marked Prices. Got them for around 20 Euro each

 

Birthday in a week, so the missus picked me up the peep show entire series,a boosh t shirt,2 books and the shield series2 for less than 65 quid.

feel sorry for the folks losing their jobs but this recession has seen some serious bargains.

 

Yea they having a good clear out sale as they shutting down.. I got a new wireless ps3 controller normaly €60 for €31.99 not bad. Lots of good bargins to be got

Anyone get any decent deals today?

 

i wouldnt go near them regardless of the offers,alot of charities around ireland who were raising money for important causes had zavvi vouchers as prizes and with the situation zavvi are in now they wont honour the vouchers,dirty bsatards,the charities are refunding the winners with some of the cash they raised.

 

Zavvi announced they were going bust on the 27th of Dec

 

As I understand it the business is in examinership and it is the appointed examiner who has taken the view that voucher holders would be treated as unsecured creditors, not the company.

 

ok i done my homework,my local paper didnt state the full facts,still an aweful lot of trouble to go to for compensation,shop till you drop lads

 

It's still a shitty thing to do when vouchers are virtually always gifts or prizes.

 

nice one ray got one of the ps3 joypads for my son 31.99 bargain ,

 

think the vouchers are good arent they, you might have to send off for them to a place in the UK EDIT .. Ill shut uo and let you read this, its clearer
