try http://www.komplett.ie/k/kc.aspx?bn=10412 looks like they have cheaper and better one's. wouldnt get a new pc just to play a game.
i am no expert on anything got to do with pc's but i bought my pc from dawn micro (in goats town) and they say that when getting a graphics card get one that is separate from the sound card. don't know if that helps you ..
Download this Microsoft Update. It should sort your problems out; http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...6A-6D37-478D-BA17-28B1CCA4865A&displaylang=en

Shit thats brutal that the windows patch didn't work. It sorted my two mates problems out. You should pick up a 1gb graphics card for €50 on the web.
Generally installing hardware now a days is fairly handy. I dont know what type of PC or Operating System you have, however most PC's that have an onboard chip will be automatically disabled once you insert the card so that will make things easy for you. You need to find out if your best off buying a PCI video card or if you have the facility for an AGP card - depends on the age and model system you have. Drop me a PM when you're over your post christmas brokeness, Im an IT manager, hopfully I'll be able to advise you.
Hey, First off 32Mb Graphic card is nothing these days. My 2 year old laptop has 128Mb. It's been a while since I've built a PC and I'm a bit out of the loop on the latest and greatest but I reckon you should be looking at at least 256Mb in a graphics card. ATI are a good brand to look at. When looking for one, make sure it is compatible with your motherboard. It's not just graphics either though. How much RAM do you have? These days, a Gb of RAM is the norm. How about your processor, though that's not as important. Here's an idea for you. Look on the box of the games you want to work. There is a minimum and recommended hardware requirements note on it somewhere. That'd be a good guideline for what spec you should get your PC up to.
AGP has been around a long time though hasn't it?? Isn't it AGPx8 now or something? If his motherboard can't even handle an AGP card would he be better off just buying a new PC? Isn't is all PCI express cards now too?
Yep your right about AGP mate, thats why I mentioned 'I dont know what type of PC or Operating System you have' cos we could be talking about a 5 year old PC here stamullenredmen Here is some more information about the game, the game can use 3d camera's, this will require more RAM but also a higher graphics card. The link below shows you how to turn on 3D Graphics, IF you are able to launch the game but the display is bad then try following the same directions however take the check mark out of the box and dont allow 3D Graphics. http://help.sega.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=404&nav=0,6,74,138
ive the pc near three years so its far from top of the range.as for the game well it was a present so herself didnt think of checking it out system wise
I have some trade contacts for PC's and had a look for you, depending on wether u need AGP or PCI, price is below AGP GeForce 5200 256mb €35.00 PCI GeForce 6200 256mb €49.00 They can deliver straight to your house for around €10.00 If you need one let me know mate and i'll order it for you no hassel
Oh I understand that. I'm just saying that, now you have 2 games that won't work you may as well check and see what spec computer is needed to run them so you know what you need in terms of upgrading your PC. i.e. There's no point upgrading to 128Mb graphics card if you later find out one of the games needs 256Mb. Ditto for Ram and Processor. As always, make sure your motherboard is compatible with all components you're going to buy.
