Meet all the lads stephens day for pints, footie and horseracing. Not usually very sucessful with the nags (don't follow them enough i suppose) so if anyone has any tips for the horses that day it would be very much appreciated.
A great days racing though one problem is that there are too many meeting - about 10 in total I think. Pick one or two meetings, maybe Kempton and Wetherby and go at them.
myself and my mates have been doing the same for as long as i can remember and i don't think i was ever up money at the end of the day. good advice from the lads tho, pick a meeting and stick to it. you could asways try these sites for a bit of help http://www.attheraces.com/tips/ http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/racing_tipping_centre/
Got told a name of a horse for Stephen's Day, running in either Leop or Lim I was told and something like 'A TRUE STORY' or 'A LONG STORY', I cant remember the name, I was told it will be around 20s but its in 1 of those races were the favourite is 12s so defo worth an each way.
I know the connections of Made In Taipan think hes a superstar so he should run a big race in the Durkan Homes Novice Chase.
Kauto Star at 11/8 in the king george is a great price, basically if he jumps he will win. No one in the field is good enough to challenge him over the distance IMO
thanks for the info.do you think it might prove tricky though this time to give the weight concession away to tatenen.Tatenen would nearly have to win with the conditions to justify his arkle odds
I havent really looked at it mate I just know the connections think hes a star and fancy him for the Arkle.
I fancy Harchibald to run a big un in the Christmas hurdle at Kempton,7-8/1,maybe not just good enough to win but deffo an ew bet to nothing.Nothin will travel better than him between the last 2,if he has enough of them burnt off by that stage could be a decent priced winner.
Lol, I got word for Wave Power in that 1! A lot of "tips" will be flying about today lads...be careful!
Fairyland and Agus A Vic gone, backed both and no luck so up next is a true story in limerick! Fingers crossed!
