The set was qualtiy

Sound, Light, Extras were amazing, crowd was compact 14000 or so. In fact it was probably the venue that made it so good, no moise being lost duw to an open arena like croke park or landsdown etc.

They actually came out and played "Fairytale of New york" in the middle of the crowd. Literally four rows in front of where we were.

It probably was the venue, in fact, but out of all the concerts i was at, this kicked ass

ill try and upload some photos for you

Was at the gig last night and it was class. I have to say the O2 is a fantastic venue now and there is much more space now outside I think to mill around before the gig.

Their set was fanastic, the set, light, the big projection balls (you'll know what that means if you were there) all top notch.

There was one moment people in the ABCD block like me thought we were going to lose Chris Martin near the start of the gig when he decided to do a big mad run and jump down the walkway and his landing momentum took him about an inch from the end of the walkway otherwise he'd have gone off and it would have been a short concent.

I thought their little set in the crowd was good with Fairytale Of New York.

Every group that comes to Dublin you hear the ususal you're the best audience blah blah but along with REM when they played the point before it shut and they played a 35 min encore Coldplay are the only non Irish band I have believed.

Springsteen done 7 song encores during his 3 gigs during the summer.

They said last night that Sunday's crowd was brilliant at the start of the gig and was a 10/10 so we'd have our work cut out to get to 11/10.

But I believe him about the Dublin audience in general when they play here not just a specific night.
