Just was reading this on the official site hope its alright to post here. Kenny and Marina Dalglish have today launched a 'Buy a Brick' campaign in a bid to raise funds to build a new Radiotherapy Centre at Aintree University Hospital - and they are asking for your support. Having successfully battled against cancer back in 2003, Marina set up an appeal which raised enough money to build a Chemotherapy Centre at the hospital. Now the aim is to construct a much-needed Radiotherapy facility by 2010 and the 'Marina Dalglish Appeal' is giving you the chance to buy a brick in the new building for just £5. "Kenny and myself have been constantly amazed at how much time, effort and money you have all been willing to donate, and we realize that nothing would be possible without your help," said Marina. "Thank you all very much and hopefully we can achieve our new goal." If you are interested in buying a brick (or bricks) for this new appeal then simply click on the link below or call Dianne on 0151 709 7079 for more information. http://www.marinadalglishappeal.org/
Nice thought but we need a few bricks of our own here first. Great to see them working for a good cause though
in all fairness mate,we know its worth supporting. but you cant just dismiss/forget the campaigns that the good people on this site started, and continue to champion.
