he has to go great player for the reds and ireland but totally inept as a manager, john delaney should follow him out the door now for the sake of the irish team and the best fans in the world, we have some very talented young players coming though and we need the right manager
excuse the language folks our team is a shambles and players are fucking brutal seriously i seen better 5 a side players than half them muppets there like england at the moment cant play together , on paper the brits have the best squad but cant gel and neither can we and we always seem to get poxy injurys when was last time we had fully fit squad ? the set up is a farce , delaney doesnt give 2 fooks about the football , his backhanders is all he wants and less money spent the better to him
The national team at present is a bit of a joke to be honest.Im not saying this as a red but what in the name of hell is john o shea doing playing international football.I have NEVER NEVER even once seen him play a good game for Ireland and isnt even a starter for his club side.The guy gets in the team because of who he plays for and if he signed for the likes of charlton etc...he would dissapear off the international radar.We must get a new manager in there straight away because we have many a young talented player who need the right guidence over the next few years.Even our so called star player(Duff) has played like his shoe laces are tied together over the last years.The players and manager should have to apoligise to the supporters when they put in rubbish performances like that on Saturday night as a think they deserve it!!
it actually pains me to say this but i was so embarrassed for my country this wknd with the soccer and rubgy performances!! steve staunton is way out of his depth,he has served us well over the years but he is not cut out as a top international manager!! andy reid should hav started! i dont rate mcgeady and fell he should hav been dropped with hunt replacing him!! the only two players who could hold their heads up high after saturdays match were richard dunne and shay given! if we lose wednesday nite, then "the gaffer" must go!!!
Let's see how they go on Wed. Hopefully Stan will have learnt his lesson on Sat and we can go out and have a go. Surely he must know at this stage that we can't sit back and let the opposition have the ball. We have to go out and attack. Reid and Hunt must come into the team, especially with Ireland now out. I'd move Kilbane to left back and as poor as he played on Sat i'd give McGeady another go.
how many times does stan have to learn his lesson JAWS2 ??? he wasnt and isnt a proven manager , walsall 2nd coach is his only experience and even then wasnt able to be a manager he's useless and yes he's served us well as a player but times have changed and we need to get rid of him , we wont qualify end of so another competition we out of as at most we'd get 2nd place and get stuffed in play offs as usual so another 2 years to see if we get into world cup
