Just reading on BBC there that the Sports Personality Awards are on in Liverpool this year on Sunday December 13th. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tv_and_radio/sports_personality_of_the_year/7258355.stm Was also looking at the roll of honour aswell on BBC: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/tv_and_radio/sports_personality_of_the_year/7663176.stm Is Lewis Hamilton a cert for this? What do u all think?
id say Hamilton will win it but for me its Calzaghe who deserves it again. Not wanting to start an argument about slapping or technique but he is retiring as an undisputed and undefeated world champion and ring title holder.
Its been a massive year for British sport with them actually winning some medals in the olympics and the English national team obviously having the World Cup in the bag. Hamilton is probably gonna win it, but Chris Hoy could be a decent outside bet?
