My god, that is scary. Hope they get it under control soon before more innocent people are killed.

Seems very co-ordinated for a small, unknown group. Just listening on sky there saying al-qaeda had planned one more big attack before obama came into office, that this is probably it. Although sky are not far off the british version of fox who link al-qaeda to everything, seems higher powers involved. Iraq and afganistan need to be drawn out of sooner than later, there's just too many of these absolute nutcases all over the world to ever get anywhere. The fact they're carried out such a huge attack while its obvious change is coming with obama though, it might not make much difference.

i thought personally something major since 9/11 would come sooner, but the question that needs to be asked is that if this is al-qaeda related, then why so long and is there more on the way,i know people might say im brainwashed by sky and fox news, but al-qaeda were behind 9/11 and this could be the start of something bigger, god help us if it is.

    Not good at all ...

I'm sorry for anyone caught up in this, it's absolutely terrifying.

FFS, isn't it time we all just started to get along, instead of constant killings etc ....

I didnt hear about this til this morning when i turned on sky sports news and they were talking about england cricket team leaving india, anyways i flicked over to bbc news and watched about 15 mins of the coverage, which then moved on to other stories, and when i turned back to sky sports, they were still on about the cricketers, nice to see that they are keeping everything in perspective

I bet they are delighted not because if the security issues but the fact they are being thrashed in every game . Think they are 5-0 down in the series.

well, it is a dedicated SPORTS channel so they're only giving people what they expect to see

although I do agree that it seems 'trivial'

For what it's worth I was in India (including Mumbai) earlier this year so I read a bit about the history - turbulent to say the least but it's a resilient country

Coincidently, I watched Gandhi again last week too - I'd recommend that as a starting point for anyone who's interested in knowing more about the modern-history of India-Pakistan

I was in India just last month and there were a few attacks by Islamic nutters. They were mainly in the north close to the Pakistan border and a couple of bombings in Delhi.
I always felt safe and I was only worried about getting Delhi Belly.
The fact that this time they were seeking to kill Americans and British will put alot people off travelling to this wonderful country.
