There seems to be a massive number of people here who watch this every friday night, did anyone see it last friday? Pat ripping up the tickets live (http://www.independent.ie/national-news/rte-viewers-raise-hell-over-late-late-satanic-show-1550830.html) on air, sounds kinda funny!!
The presenter got a little hot under the collar himself a little later when he ripped up two tickets after the winner of a competition said on air that she wasn't "particularly interested" in attending the Late Late Toy Show later this week.
Barbara Heavey, from Cork city, yesterday described Mr Kenny's actions as ungracious but Mr Kenny has questioned why she entered the competition if she didn't want to attend the popular annual event.
Ms Heavey said she entered out of "boredom" and had no interest in watching children play with toys for two hours, and added that she has no children of her own. She also said that she didn't see the presenter rip up the tickets as she had turned off the television to prevent an echo on the line.

I didnt see the show this weekend. That one sounds like a horribly ungracious individual. The burlesque video is pathetic and says so much about where the Late Late has gone. That tramp is making a fortune off the back of sleeping with that weirdo and the joke which was made at her grandads expense.

Yeah, I agree your woman sounds like a right muppet.
It was poor form to decline the tickets on air, she could have just gone out of courtesy or at least waited until she was off-air to turn the tickets down.
Also that stupid tramp that was made famous by Brand/Ross, should never have been let into the studio let alone interviewed.
They've got serious problems if they're that stuck for guests.

By the off chance does anyone actually have 2 tickets??????

Yeah i said when I heard the whole Brand/Ross and whatever her chest is called, that she would be fodder for Nuts and Zoo magazine within weeks, how i felt so high and mighty on my high horse when I seen her on the cover of some of them last week!!
Dunno why anyone wouldnt wanna go to the toy show, fricking hell for 2 hours of billy barry kids you would be leaving with a bag load of freebies that would sort out Christmas shopping for anybody!

Aparently, the "lady" who turned down the tickets also won a holiday and €1000 spending money. She said she wanted that. I sincerely hope the holiday is one from hell or the sponsor refuses to give it to her.

Yeah she sounded like a right snobby cow alright. He shouldn't given her anything! Should have put the phone down and went to the next person!.
It's not even that she didn't want the tickets, fair enough, but she didn't even sound a bit grateful about getting the 10k!. It'd make ye sick!

I didnt realise it was €10K. I'd imagine/hope she got told to get stuffed when she went off air. What a horrible person. I hope there are no BS competition rules that state that she is entitled to the prize.

I thought she sounded a bit snooty. But if she didn't want the tickets whats the bother with not taking them maybe she thought they might go to someone who wanted them. If Pat the plonk didn't shout over her and act like the muppet he is, everyone would have heard her telling him to raffle them.
As for that " burlesque performance" ... the less said the better!
Watched it myself on Friday, and was astonished at her attitude...personally, i wouldn't have given her the prize, i would've rang up the next caller...there was nothing stopping her taken the tickets and given it to charity to raffle or even a child in her family...obviously she only thinks of herself...

that ungreatful cnut should have been presented with the money at the end of the toy show, how can she only accept half the prize only rte would allow this who ever the sponser is should pull the plug on the money and donate it to a worthwhile charity

The crowd was even yelling hang up and call the next one on the list. I think Pat rather kept his cool under the situation.

Not sure which of them acted worse ...
* the woman who won, for being ungreatful
or
* Pat Kelly for acting like a child, with the tickets
Shame on them both, I guess ...

Don't know what everyones problem is, yeah she is a bit of a cow. But she has no Children and wouldn't blame her for not wanting to go.. She said she didn't want the tickets so what's wrong with that..
He is a plonker.. Did you hear him to Charlie Bird and he said he had no leaving cert.. "That will learn you" and there was something else he said trying to be smart too..
