i honestly dont see the point of football manager on the wii, it would be a no brainer on companies to make one (how could you play with that nun chuck thing) There is a game out called pes 2008 / 2009 that is on the wii also fifa 09 is out but the wii is more for party games like wii sports, mario strikers and mario party
So you're sayin the wii is sh!t?? Just as I thought. Santy's got it for this house ye see an I can't play Mario.
The wii is terrible. got bored of it in amonth and shipped it on. Although i heard the footie games are decent. you can get fifa and pro evo. dont think you can get footie manager. The mario football game was supposed to be class aswell
No, afraid you can't mate. There was a rumour of a "Wii 2" which would allow this, but don't know if that is true. And anyway with the motion plus (or whatever it's called) being released soon for the controllers, I doubt they'll be replacing it just yet. Btw I think the Wii is brilliant. If you're a serious gamer, don't even think of buying one. If you want something u can have a larf on every now and then, like have a few friends over, get some beers in, and laugh at people making a t*t of themselves - then the Wii is your thing
I dont think the Wii allows you play someone online does it which is a big deal for most gamers plus the graphics by and large are crap on cross platform games. The Wii is aimed mainly at the youngsters but there are still a few like MarioCart that adults can play for hours happily. If you want a bit of a laugh when you have mates around the Wii is pretty good fun in small doses but if your a real gamer type person you're better off with a PS3 or 360 and you dont have to move the furniture around to avoid smashing things or worry about flinging the controller through the telly if you forget to put the wrist strap on.
you can somehow alright but i dont remember how. google should help. your warranty is probably void if you do though so research it carefully.
It does mate, and for the game you mentioned. There are a number of games that allow online play now. The Wii technically doesn't play DVD's CLICKY But - your post interested me. You say you don't remember how - have you got a Wii and done something to get it working? EDIT: Looky what I found!!! Warning lads - do a bit of research on it first, i.e. of other users having installed it and it working okay etc. Last thing you want is to do is wreck your wii!! When I get a chance I'm going to look into it - so if people want to wait I'll be the red guinea pig
no, i read about it and kind of knew about it but im really not all that bothered, in our sitting room back home, theres: a ps2, plays dvds a surround sound dvd player, plays dvds though its a bit knackered a 360, plays dvds a dvd recorder, plays dvds see what im getting at here im sure most people that do try out dvds on the wii are doing so out of curiousty.
Ironically corcaigh, I don't have a DVD player! What? - I hear you say! Well to my 40" LCD TV I have the following connected: NTL Digital Box. Sony 6.1 Cinema Surround Sound System (Amp + 5 * speakers, 1 * subwoofer). Popcorn Hour Media Tank with 1TB External HD. Nintendo Wii. I didn't want a DVD + Surround Sound integrated device as these rely on the DVD player working, and so one is being hooked into the DVD player and the manufacturer connections. Setting all these up, and getting them to all work with the surround sound was a frikkin nitemare! But because I have the Popcorn Hour box I rarely watch DVD's now (if you follow me ). I don't want to lump in another device, so if I could get the Wii playing DVD's it would all be so so so perfect. So, when I have time (and I'm a busy bee at the moment!) I will have a look at how to get it playing DVD's, and post my findings here
Popcorn Hour is a media player that allows you to play movies you have converted to file formats (i.e. mpeg, avi, mkv etc). So basically instead of having to connect your computer to the TV, you play the files through this unit. It comes with a remote and a simple interface for selecting your movies from wherever they are stored. Which leads me to the 1 TB (Terabyte) External HD (Hard Drive). It basically allows me to store 1000 Gigabytes of movies, which I can connect to the Popcorn Hour to play them.
